Together for a responsible community
▶Summary
We applied for this project, "Together for a responsible community", because we are very concerned about environmental issues and believe that it is necessary to take measures to protect the environment and improve the health of our planet. Through this project, we wanted to contribute to raising awareness of the importance of environmental protection and to the development of innovative solutions to combat environmental problems in our communities. The main needs we wanted to address by participating in this project were: Raising awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and climate change in our communities. Developing practical skills and knowledge in the field of environmental protection, so that we can contribute more effectively to protecting the environment and creating more sustainable communities. Creating partnerships and a network of organizations interested in protecting the environment so that we can work together to develop innovative solutions and exchange good practice. Improving the capabilities of our organization to develop projects in the field of environmental protection and to collaborate with partner organizations in other countries.
▶Objectives
By implementing the "Together for a responsible community" project, we set out to achieve the following objectives: Raising community awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and climate change. Encouraging the active involvement of youth and the community in local environmental initiatives. Increasing the level of knowledge of the participants regarding environmental issues and practical solutions to protect the environment. Development of skills and competences in the field of environmental protection and climate change. Raising awareness of the importance of international collaboration in protecting the environment and addressing global environmental issues. Increasing the impact of the project by promoting European values and developing the European spirit among young people and local communities.

▶Impact
The concrete results of the project include: Development of a best practices guide for protecting the environment, called GreenBioGuide, which has been translated into several languages Organizing two workshops to raise awareness of the importance of protecting the environment, addressing the 25-45 and 45-65 age groups in Romania and Cyprus. Organization of two workshops for information and promotion of the GreenBioGuide, addressing the 25-45 and 45-60 age groups in Romania and Cyprus. Organization of two dissemination conferences in Romania and Cyprus to promote and share the results of the project with the general public. Other results of the project include: Increasing the awareness of individuals about protecting the environment and their impact on it. Developing the capacity of partner organizations to implement and manage environmental projects. Improving cooperation and exchange of best practices between partner organizations and between EU member states. Increasing the degree of access to useful information and resources for protecting the environment by distributing the GreenBioGuide.
