Social Inclusion of Women Through Global Competencies

The starting point of Advance Project is the current situation of women in partner countries in terms of social and economic conditions. Number of women who lacks necessary guidance to become more competent is very high in all partner countries of Advance project. So the partnership aims at addressing their skills and knowledge in a way that we can contribute to the women’s social inclusion as well as their employability. Global Competencies are the proven way that is helpful for women. Therefore, the partnership started the Advance Project and developed very useful tools for women with social and cultural barriers.

The Project is shaped around Global Competencies (GC) that can be described as the skills, values and behaviours that prepare people to thrive in a more diverse, interconnected world. The project targets disadvantaged women especially the ones that are from different cultural backgrounds from the hosting country or city (external & internal migration). The Project contributes to the G.C of these women to help their social inclusion and employment. We also target professionals working with women.

The Advance Project has 5 main activities; - Creation of Training Content for Women: The partners developed training content (in 5 modules) based on Global Competencies (GC) that contribute to the inclusion and employability of disadvantaged women. - Creation of Training Content for Professionals In order to support professionals working with disadvantaged women, we developed 5 modules that are useful for them to train women in Global Competencies. - Piloting Courses with Women Partners trained over 40 women with pilot courses - Creation of e-learning Platform Platform with all training content was developed and made public. - Management and Dissemination Activities Management, TPMs, Dissemination.
