▶Objectives
The project would support people who have to go to other countries to work in the changing social structure that has become more mobile, multicultural and digital with its innovative structure, or who need to learn two more languages in addition to the main language they will need while practicing their profession. By implementing the job-related multi-language acquisition project, we aimed to achieve several key objectives that align with both educational and professional development goals. 1. Enhance Employability and Career Opportunities a. Skill development by language proficiency, job-specific vocabulary and, professional competence via communication skills and via cultural competence, b. Support economic and professional mobility by global workforce readiness to international opportunities, transnational collaboration, career advancement, promotions and transfers, support aspiring entrepreneurs in reaching international markets and communicating effectively with a global clientele. c. Enhance educational outcomes via integrated curriculum, experiential learning, and by preparing students for higher education opportunities where multilingual proficiency is beneficial or required. 2. Increasing Organizational performance.
▶Activities
Actually, the most needed professions had been divided into categories that consisted of modules in 7 languages, including an online open-sourced dictionary and a learning program via courses. In addition to the prepared training modules, the open-source digital platform which included different innovative educational applications such as gratification, analogy method and caricaturizing contributed to our goal of integrating technology into our lives and benefiting from technological developments with a language learning platform accessible to everyone. Literature review about side issues that EU faced and the articles which have been presented in International Conference enriched the area of integration in different cultural stiles of living. Within the framework of the coordination of our efforts, our first education meeting was held on 12-16 September 2022 in Cordoba / Spain. Then the second meeting took place as planned between 2023.04.15 and 2023.04.19 Stockholm/ Sweden. We proceed the third meeting in Ljubljana/ Slovenia as planned between 2023.09.19 and 2023.09.23. The final International Conference where the achievements of the Project were lastly monitored took place in Afyonkarahisar between 22 and 23 December 2023.
▶Impact
The hope was enlarged to get advantage of the increasing immigrant population that our country and Europe are facing. The businessmen found it easy to expect more team-workers with enough communication skills and a bigger human resources pool. Learning Modules: Created a series of interactive and multimedia learning modules that included online quizzes, and gamified experiences. Job-Specific Glossaries: Compiled glossaries and phrasebooks for industry-specific terminology to aid in practical language use. Partnerships with Businesses: Formed partnerships with local and international businesses to provide real-world language practice opportunities and internships for students. Enhanced Employability and Career Development Job Placements: A notable increase in job placements for participants, particularly in roles requiring multilingual skills. Career Advancements: Participants reported promotions and new job opportunities due to their improved language skills, with some moving into international roles within their companies. The project achieved substantial concrete outputs and other impactful results, including improved language proficiency, enhanced career opportunities via strengthened community and industry engagement.
