▶Objectives
With the IncludeUp project, we aimed to empower adult educators to better support low-skilled adults with a migration background in developing the digital entrepreneurship competences they need to participate in today’s economy. Specifically, we wanted to: Develop a European Competence Framework for inclusive digital entrepreneurship education tailored to adult learners with diverse needs and backgrounds. Strengthen the digital and pedagogical skills of adult educators through an innovative online training offer that combines theory, tools, and practical examples. Support inclusive entrepreneurship pathways by equipping learners with accessible, culturally sensitive, and practical learning materials. Build a transnational network of educators and institutions that share good practices, tools, and experiences around inclusive entrepreneurship education. Influence policy and practice by providing insights, recommendations, and tested materials that can be used at both national and European level. ▶Activities
During the IncludeUp project, we developed six interactive online modules focused on digital entrepreneurship skills for low-skilled adults with a migrant background. We designed a user-friendly digital learning platform featuring practical assignments, visual materials, and storytelling. An online educator community was established to support adult educators through peer exchange and shared tools. We organised co-creation workshops and testing sessions across partner countries to validate and improve the training content. Dissemination activities included local and international multiplier events, webinars, and social media campaigns. These actions helped raise awareness, ensure quality, and foster long-term impact across educational and migration-related networks in Europe.
▶Impact
The IncludeUp project produced three main outputs: Digital Entrepreneurship Competence Framework: A comprehensive, evidence-based framework outlining the key skills and knowledge educators need to teach digital entrepreneurship to adults with migrant backgrounds. Digital Entrepreneurship e-Learning Platform: An interactive online course consisting of six modules covering digital business fundamentals, including digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media strategies, tailored for adult educators and learners. Online Educator Community (OC): A sustainable, transnational network platform enabling educators to share best practices, resources, and peer support focused on inclusive digital entrepreneurship education. Additional results included validated training materials tested in diverse European contexts, increased educator competences, improved learner engagement, and strengthened collaboration across adult education providers, NGOs, and higher education institutions.
