▶Objectives
The main objective of the School +Family Alliance project is to reduce the number of students who leave school prematurely, due to obstacles related to the disadvantaged socio economic background of their family. It aims to achieve effective parental involvement in the educational process of these students by designing and implementing a whole school approach with the active involvement of teachers, thus promoting inclusive education across Europe.
▶Activities
Activities include the development of a methodology to engage the parents of disadvantaged students in the education of their children, through the implementation of an inclusive education approach. This approach will highlight the role of educational staff who will participate in training activities and the role of parents who through training activities will gain the skills to form a solid school and family alliance. The methodology will be tested and evaluated for further implementation.
