Fostering the employability opportunities of young

Objectives Eco-NEETs@Work aims at confronting unemployment among young NEETs especially from rural and digitally excluded areas. It suggests an inclusive, innovative and sustainable solution that will utilise the benefits of experiential learning and the NEETs' rural background to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and digital competencies through hands-on environmental-oriented activities. Therefore, it will motivate and and introduce them in the labor market, even in the challenging post-pandemic era. Activities Activities will include: - A comprehensive report on eco-practices, eco-preneurial learning methods, needs and level of competences of young individuals. -The development of a novel training methodology to be followed for delivery of efficient training throughout the project implementation and after its funded period. -The creation of a highly interactive and engaging training pack & e-tools bank. -The creation of a framework to support future synergies. Impact Eco-NEETs@Work is expected to contribute to the entrepreneurial and digital upskilling of young NEEts (especially from rural areas), as well as boost their confidence and motivation to re-enter the labour market. Accordingly, it will create: 1. A full training pack to facilitate the development of skills & competences required in eco-business. 2. A set of virtual tools to act as a continuous education opportunity. 3. An online mentorship dedicated space to provide infrastructure & support.
