The aim of the project was to have a concrete impact on school directors and to bring real changes in school leadership. Thanks to the outputs of the previously ongoing project Director21, which BrainBrush implemented, we verified which methods, principles and procedures commonly used in the business environment have very positive impacts on building leadership in the school environment. The specific impacts for educational leaders and for the school environment and culture were : - directors see a new solution to a problem than the one they have been repeating - a new perspective and attitude towards teachers as respectful colleagues (I am on the same boat) - more competencies and responsibilities are handed over to teachers - more autonomy, decision making and influence over the running of the school results in increased intrinsic motivation of teachers - regular retrospectives take place in schools - problems are solved together among teachers, no longer driven by fear of expressing failure/failure - problem/error seen as a natural part of life and opportunity for improvement - idea of WE (together) not ME (each for themselves) introduced - building partnerships across the school

The following activities were implemented within the project: A1 - Project management and administration A2 - Dissemination, communication and networking A3 - Web portal creation with Quest assignments and sharing of good practice A4 - Pilot of the web portal - 4 workshops in CZ schools, 4 workshops in SK schools and one final international meeting to share the good practices A5 - Use of results and sustainability A6 - Translation of the materials into English and Slovak A7 - Internal quality assurance of outputs A8 - Travel arrangements

The main aim of the project was wider impact through application of the developed methodologies, to stimulate the development of school leadership. Therefore, the main output of this project is the web portal, accessible to the general educational public in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, but also thanks to the English version to other European countries.The main added value of the web portal is the provision of interactive and understandable methodologies of key cross-cutting themes of building school leadership. We see the cross-cutting themes in school leadership and its application to the school environment as the so-called 4K: communication, collaboration, community and continuous improvement. The detailed and clear methodology is complemented by a series of so-called Quest. The Quests are kind of work challenges - homework. By completing them, every pedagogical leader can put the topic into practice in his/her work team. Furthermore, thanks to the outputs from the pilot WS, the portal includes sharing of good practice, descriptions of current issues and problems and concrete experiences with their solutions.
