Summary

Objectives We set several objectives: using method of documentary theatre to examine the current relations of Czechs and Slovaks 30 years after the separation, theatre script and its formation, creation of a theatre performance and project methodology. The research will be processed by Secondary school students from Slovakia and the Czech Republic. At the same time, they will be co-authors of the play and actors of the production. The whole process will be documented in the methodological manual. Activities The project will consist of 7 intensive face-to-face meetings and several online meetings. The main topic is the separation of Czechoslovakia, workshops about the documentary theatre, methodology of research, dramaturgy and the creation of a theater play, work with acting, voice and stage movement. The resulting activity of the practical part is the public presentation of the performance Separation: Public Affair. Activities will be documented for the purpose of creating methodological manual. Impact The result should lead to the connection between educational and artistic institutions, mutual work on research, the creation of author's plays and subsequently the performance Separation: Public Affair. Finally, the published manual the Method Verbatim – How to do the Documentary Theatre will serve as an inspiration for creating another educative and artistic projects.
