ATTACH promoted active civic engagement through adult education, empowering educators and engaging adult and senior learners, with a particular focus on those with fewer opportunities. The project has reached its objectives by tackling essential challenges and introducing innovative solutions. This it has done through targeted research in mapping the political dimension of the work of adult educators both nationally and at EU levels. The project has developed better capacity in the skills of adult and senior coordinators, volunteers who manage the initiatives regarding active citizenship. The project developed and implemented innovative educational tools, such as Photovoice, Educational Animation, Storytelling, and Kahoot! Quizzes, to engage learners in an active learning process. These methods focused on contemporary issues, like Human Rights, Data Protection, Immigration, and Euroscepticism, making civic participation more accessible and appealing. The project finally empowered educators to use social media effectively, training learners in the design of effective online campaigns on real community issues.
