Agriculture is undergoing profound change due to the introduction of digitalisation, automation and precision farming - often referred to as 'Agriculture 4.0'. This change requires new qualifications and an adaptation of agricultural vocational training to modern technologies. The project's partner institutions have recognised that there is a lack of uniform training opportunities and comparable training standards for Agriculture 4.0 in Europe. The project was set up to close this gap, facilitate the transfer of knowledge between the partner countries and promote innovative teaching methods in vocational training.
