The eRead project has straightforward objectives: - share experience in the area of teaching reading and how digital tools can be used to develop reading skills. - design a BA module "Teaching Reading Digitally". - design a professional development course "Teaching Reading Digitally". - using the gained experience in the area of teaching reading with digital technologies, develop four digital "Reading Skills: B1" courses. - share the project results to the maximum.
▶Activities
The eRead project has the following activities: - Learning, Teaching, Training trips to share and observe experience in the four project countries (WP2). - MA module "Teaching Reading Digitally" design and piloting (WP2). - professional development course "Teaching Reading Digitally" design (WP 3). - dissemination seminars for language teachers "Teaching Reading Digitally" design (WP 3). - development of four language courses "Reading Skills: B1" and piloting it (WP4).
▶Impact
In the eRead project, we expect the following results: - a BA module to update/improve the course "Methods of Teaching Languages" and a similar professional development course for in-service teachers. - more open-mined and technologically skilled teachers delivering language classes to school pupils, improving their reading skills, using new technologies consciously and efficiently. - open-source digital courses "Reading Skills: B1" to improve the language proficiency of some country residents.
