โถObjectives
AGILITY was designed to harness digital innovations to strengthen the Vocational Education and Training (VET) of Registered Paediatric Nurses (RPNs).Specifically, AGILITY aimed to: Develop innovative vocational training services tailored to RPNs. Address key challenges associated with remote training and implementing Clinical Pathway Education (CPE). Integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into vocational training for paediatric nurses. Develop comprehensive digital content covering the theoretical foundations of clinical nursing pathways. Design a simulation-based learning module to reinforce the practical application of CPE.
โถActivities
To achieve the objectives, AGILITY implemented the following key activities: Project Management to ensure the structured execution of objectives. Collection, exchange, and analysis of best practices in paediatric emergency training. Development of a standardized training model adapted to the needs of RPNs. Creation and application of digital training materials, including interactive modules. Validation through focus groups to refine training methodologies based on user feedback. Impact assessment and dissemination to facilitate long-term sustainability and adoption of the program.
โถImpact
AGILITY successfully implemented all proposed activities, delivering a comprehensive digital platform for Clinical Pathway (CP) training tailored to paediatric nurses. In addition to the core objectives, the project achieved several key deliverables, including: - A Good Practices Review on University Clinical Pathway Education (CPE) for Paediatric Nurses. - The development of a structured Training Model for Clinical Pathway (CP) education, integrating e-learning and simulation-based methodologies to enhance training accessibility. - The creation and implementation of a pilot course on CP training for paediatric nurses, covering key emergency scenarios such as asthma exacerbation, bronchiolitis, child drowning, and paediatric resuscitation. - A User Pilot Report and Focus Group Validation Report, evaluating the effectiveness and adaptability of the training model through structured feedback from nurses and educators. - A dedicated AGILITY project website, social media presence, and dissemination strategy, ensuring broad outreach and engagement conference participation.
