The main goal of the project has been the application by the participating teachers of innovative teaching-learning methodologies that allow vocational training students to improve both the professional skills specific to their field of work and the transversal skills of autonomy, teamwork, cooperation, responsibility, adaptability, problem solving, communication in the English language, etc. The aim was also to increase the motivation of the students since these types of projects help to increase the attractiveness and prestige of a traditionally maligned vocational training. Another objective was to obtain the collaboration of a private sector company to enrich the project. Finally, it was also intended to consolidate and strengthen the cooperation network between partners to participate in Erasmus projects, both KA131 and KA122.

The activities carried out have been as planned. An initial activity that served to shape the project, already having a clear idea of ​​the product that was going to be worked with, an aniseed, and with the collaboration of the company Bodegas Osborne, which collaborated with the transfer of the samples to be analyzed for both the drink. like essential oil. In this activity, the tests to be carried out and the methods to follow during development were decided. A second distance activity in which each center prepared and shared the necessary documentation and carried out the planned tests with the students who worked on the analysis of the commercial product as well as on the manufacture of the product in their own laboratory. In this phase, the students prepared the materials that were going to be shared in the last activity. The last activity was a meeting of all the participants in which the facilities of the collaborating company were visited, a laboratory activity was carried out among all the participants and the posters with the results obtained by each participating group were presented.

A total of 197 students from different VET studies from the chemistry and pharmacy families participated in the project. Of these, a total of 65 students participated in the final meeting, 15 of whom came from partner institutions along with 5 teachers. For the final meeting, a total of 14 works were presented with their respective posters. The general assessment of the students participating in the final meeting was very positive, for the majority of the students who came from outside Badalona this was their first opportunity to travel outside their towns, for some it was even the first time they took a plane or even staying in a hotel. The participation of some students from a particularly disadvantaged background who, thanks to different school integration programs, has managed to pursue vocational training studies is also highly valued. With regard to improving the attractiveness of VET, the percentages have been maintained or slightly improved compared to previous years. It has also been possible to maintain or slightly improve enrollment in the different participating centers. Finally, a cooperation network has been established for future Erasmus projects.
