▶Objectives
In implementing the project, a number of specific objectives were expected to be achieved, addressing identified needs and responding to challenges in the field of vocational training and the transition of young people to the labour market. Development of career guidance programmes adapted to the educational context to support young people in their transition to the world of work. Improving the quality and relevance of career guidance and counselling services through the active involvement of vocational education and training professionals. Work to increase the social inclusion of young vocational students, ensuring equal access to educational and employment opportunities regardless of their personal or socio-economic situation. In summary, the project aims to strengthen vocational guidance and counselling services, promoting social inclusion and supporting the academic and employment success of young vocational students.
▶Activities
The activities implemented in the project are as follows: Transnational project meetings: Two meetings in different locations to discuss progress, solve challenges and plan future activities. Learning event to share knowledge and experiences among project practitioners. Development of a comprehensive toolkit for career guidance and counselling tailored to the educational context of each partner. Development of a good practice guide on career guidance and counselling for practitioners and organisations in Europe. Local information events for students, educators and professionals interested in career guidance. Three events at the end of the project to share and disseminate the results among education professionals, students and the community. During the development of the project, management and implementation activities were carried out following the guidelines of the approval report taking into account transversal aspects such as environmental sustainability, inclusion and diversity, and the digital dimension.
▶Impact
Training for Guidance Counsellors: A specialised training programme was developed for 12 education and VET professionals, focused on improving their skills and knowledge regarding guidance. Dissemination Events: Events were organised to disseminate the objectives and achievements of the project, such as conferences, workshops and seminars involving professionals, stakeholders and the community. Organisational Growth: Thanks to the European approach of the project, the organisations involved expanded their international networks, strengthening capacities and generating new development and funding opportunities. Creation of a Good Practice Guide: A guide of good practices identified throughout the project was produced. This guide serves as a valuable resource for other organisations and practitioners interested in implementing similar strategies. Mentoring Tool: An innovative tool for mentors was developed that uses specific methodologies and mentoring tests to improve the effectiveness of the mentoring process. Cross-cutting aspects: digital media, online meetings and sustainable transport were used to promote the dissemination of information.
