The main objective was to propose a new 'age-friendly cities reference professional' training curriculum and a set of open educational resources freely available on the Internet for implementation in VET programs in the participating countries. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: -To define the learning outcomes needed in age-friendly cities linked to a set of key cross-cutting themes such as rights, participation, intergenerational solidarity, health and long-term care, silver economy, and management of age-friendly cities. - To create a training curriculum for the new professional figure of 'reference professional for inclusive ageing in age-friendly cities' with the common reference of European instruments such as Europass, and the European Qualification Framework level 4. -To develop a set of learning contents to be implemented in an open educational toolkit, based on an educational application and an e-learning course, which will be available for free on the Internet. -To Test the educational toolkit with the project target groups in the participating countries in order to optimize it taking into account educational, digital, social and sustainable approaches. - Disseminate the resul

The partners implemented the following activities over the course of the project: WP1 – Management Activities: Project partners implemented activities for a quality plan: finance, communication, dissemination, and project impact. • Transnational Partner Meetings (TPMs): Four TPMs were held in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, aligned with key project milestones. WP2 – Proposal for a Training Curriculum on Inclusive Ageing: 2.1. A competence map was identified for a new professional role: the Reference Professional for Inclusive Ageing in Age-Friendly Cities, based on 31 indepth interviews. 2.2. Learning outcomes were defined during international workshops. 2.3. A comprehensive training curriculum was proposed. 2.4. The curriculum was validated and disseminated at both national and international levels. WP3 – Toolkit for the Development of Age-Friendly Cities: 3.1. Learning content was developed in line with the curriculum and validated through expert workshops. 3.2. Teaching materials were created and made available on a dedicated web-app platform. 3.3. WP3 – Toolkit for the Development of Age-Friendly Cities • 3.1: Learning content developed around six thematic areas. • 3.2: Creation of teaching materials and launch of the web-app platform. • 3.3: Reports on national and international pilot testing. • 3.4: Content validation reports. • Agendas and minutes from multiplier events held in participant countries.
