FoodE: From Food Loss to Food Entrepreneurship -
▶Summary
Objectives FoodE tackles food loss in Europe by raising awareness amongst and training min 75 young people (18-35 y/o), youth orgs, & agro-experts inspiring them to engage in sustainable development/farming and realize food loss elimination initiatives to fight climate change. It will enable young (future) farmers to develop innovative business ideas directly related to FLW, thereby increasing their labor market employability and creating opportunities for collaboration with experts to tackle food loss. Activities -Target groups will participate in WP2 interviews with agro-experts for the e-Manual to understand food loss -WP3 Practice & Innovation Days will involve youth & youth centres (including disadvantaged groups) in activities to develop business ideas for tackling food loss and create affiliations with farmers & agri-food experts -WP4 FoodE Platform connects youth to old farmers and agro-entrepreneurs and help them become FoodE Ambassadors for climate action and to tackle FLW via media campaigns Impact The results expected upon completion of FoodE are: -WP2: FoodE e-Manual for youth workers -WP3: FoodE Practice &Innovation Days Implementation Guide; Entrepreneurs Corners Manual; Open Living Labs Implementation Guide; Handbook on Pedagogical Applicability of Gamification & Implementation Guide for Gamification Days; Info Days & Science Cafes; and Methodological Guide on creating Media Campaigns -WP4: FoodE Ambassadors Interactive Toolkit & Handbook; FoodE Connective Platform & Handbook Link to project card: Show project card * Results are available for this project.
