The title of the project ("From cliff to cliff: a new path for Europe") sheds light on the aims pursued: the project was designed to ensure, firstly, that it would be followed up (so that those involved would not stop there) and, secondly, that it would reach a wider audience (so that others would also see it as a source of inspiration, or even a reference). Indeed, guided by the two principles of the European motto ("United in diversity") and based on selected themes (inclusiveness, innovation and ecology), this project aimed to highlight the natural and cultural heritage of the Marches and Normandy (while respecting their different cultural characteristics), and in so doing, to develop in pupils a European awareness based on a rich and open identity. This partnership not only affirms the desire to move away from any form of standardisation, but also, and above all, to open up a "new path": a path leading from cliff to cliff, and thus inscribing the Marches and Normandy in a common European destiny - always to be explored and reopened. In short, the aim of this open path was to inspire this vocation in the students, and in others.
