How to be a committed European citizen ?

Thanks to this project, we wanted to... - get our students to bond with other European young people around common concerns (gender equality ,saving the planet, promoting LGBTQIA+ rights...) ; - get them to discover and experience another culture ; - encourage them to be more tolerant and open-minded by overcoming their differences and working together on specific issues ; - improve their communication skills in English ; - develop their organization skills by giving each group responsibilities in different workshops.

In both countries, the students met with local charities and associations dedicated to gender equality, saving the environment and promoting LGBTQIA+ rights. They also took part in team-building activities around sports, French and Catalan cultures, street art, etc. They also had to team up in order to interview French and Catalan people in the street about European citizenship.

Every French and Catalan student participated in a radio show in English about European citizenship, at the end of the project. A few press articles were also published in each country to shed light on Erasmus + and this project, and there were also posts on the school websites. The French and Catalan students worked together on banners around the notion of being a committed citizen in Europe, and this led to an exhibition in the school. During Erasmus + days, the students and the teachers explained the project to future high-schoolers.
