Learning Computer Recycling
▶Summary
Objectives Through this project, we want to give the opportunity to youth to have training in computer recycling & assembling, increasing their employability and fostering a world less overrun of e-waste. Our main objectives are: - Develop skills and technical capacities in computer recycling - Develop knowledge and awareness about e-waste and the circular economy. - Promote employability in participants - Make the learning process in computer recycling available to all through the E-Learning Platform Activities There are 2 training activities: - the first one focuses on how to create new computers from recycled parts (e-waste). - The second activity will reinforce knowledge in the field of circular economy through specific online training, testing the E-Learning Platform created for this project. Impact The expected results are: -Increase knowledge on how to optimise the recyclability of computers, how different recycling technologies work, what their implications are for the reuse of electronic products and the impact on the environment of the "reuse, reduce and recycle" logic, improve knowledge of the circular economy -Bring with them the result of their work: their own recycled and working laptop with the main software installed -Implementation of an e-learning platform with 2 online courses Link to project card: Show project card The content of this page is published for information purposes only.
