Including all persons for a Greener Future

Objectives The overall aim is to enhance the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the community by including youth in the actions of non-profits. The specific aim is to enhance the capacity of young persons as active citizens to support persons w/disabilities in their efforts to be socially included in the wider community. Via these aims, the project enhances access to services for persons w/disabilities (esp. youth), and promotes young persons to participate in local actions by building capacities. Activities The project activities are: 1) Preparation and selection of candidates (young volunteers, 10 persons), 2) Setting up the training programme for young volunteers; 3) organizing workshops & virtual learning/online workshops for the young volunteers selected; 4) Organizing nature based-actions (re: environmental protection) in Cestica and Cavriago; 2 events/actions ; 5) Evaluation and monitoring; 5) the Final conference (in Cestica) & project sustainability (via a long-term cooperation agreement). Impact The results include: 1) 1 training methodology aligned to young volunteers & other professionals that work with persons w/disabilities: including various methods (workshops, virtual learning, nature-based actions); 2) 10 young volunteers trained via the workshops, nature-based actions; 5 in HR and 5 in Italy; 3) 1 innovative concept re: environmental protection tested & evaluated: Nature-based actions in Cestica, HR & Cavriago, IT.; 4) Long-term cooperation agreement b/w
