Objectives

As the primary objective, we aim to plan a training for health professionals focused on endometriosis in adolescents, described as similar to a 'Mona Lisa smile with a mysterious innocence”. This training could help clinicians to identify adolescents at risk of endometriosis, in order to refer them to a specialty center for further evaluation and diagnosis. Considering the peculiar aspect of endometriosis in adolescence, which makes the diagnosis challenging, we chose to include European partners experienced in endometriosis diagnosis and management in order to create a standardized and shared approach which can be reproducible across Europe. Our specific objectives are: - to improve health professionals knowledge of the disease, supporting them with extensive and constantly updated didactical material - to provide them with an easily available tool to improve competences and a score to identify patients at risk
