The project was designed to respond to the challenges older people face in the digital age. The main objective was to promote digital inclusion among older people, helping them develop fundamental technological skills to fully participate in contemporary society. Furthermore, we wanted to create an opportunity for cultural exchange and intergenerational interaction through music. The project took on particular importance in combating social isolation, especially after the isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, by establishing a community where participants could share musical preferences and cultural knowledge. We encouraged continuous learning using music as a vehicle, helping seniors stay mentally active and engaged. Furthermore, the project contributed to the emotional and mental well-being of participants by providing them with access to digital tools for everyday life and the socializing experience of music. A key aspect of our project was the creation of a sustainable model, so that the benefits of digital inclusion and social interaction could last beyond the duration of the project.
