Objectives

With the Parents United project, we aim to promote cooperation and the exchange of experiences and best practices in the fields of social inclusion and sexual education for parents of children with disabilities (PWD). Our objectives included enhancing parents' knowledge and skills, fostering support networks, and providing resources that empower families. We seek to ensure that parents are equipped to advocate effectively for their children's rights and needs while creating a more inclusive society. Ultimately, we wanted to facilitate a positive dialogue that helps destigmatize disability and enhances the quality of life for both parents and their children. Through this project, we strive to build a community where parents feel supported and informed, enabling them to navigate the challenges they face.
