▶Objectives
The main goal of this project is to design and deliver a complete train-the-trainer course for simulation in healthcare. Our course is high-quality, future-proof and freely available. High Quality: the course has been prepared by experts in the field of simulation and furthermore the materials prepared underwent a rigorous review and revision process. The first round took place once the first draft of the materials had been prepared, when they were reviewed by a panel of external experts and then revised by us according to their feedback. A second round took place after the delivery of the courses: feedback from both the trainees and the trainers involved in each of the pilot courses has been collected and used to revise and improve once more the course, to finally obtain the final version. Future Proof: the course describes both the techniques and the technologies involved in simulation. While the focus is on the current state of the art, we also discuss the use of the most modern approaches, involving the use of mixed-reality (MR) technologies that will surely become part of the tools used in simulation. Freely Available: all the materials produced will be freely available online to anyone online on the project website.
