Art in Transition: Supporting Young People's Mental

Objectives Our goal is to support mental health of young people in critical stages of lives, particularly transition periods. To achieve this, we identified two specific goals: 1. Provide educators the capacity to support mental health of young people in transition periods; 2. Develop the capacity of young people to regulate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour (Emotional Skills, OECD) through art-based approaches. Activities The project involves 3 activities: A1) Project management: this activity includes the coordination, M&E, and dissemination. A2) Art in Transition - Online course for youth workers: this activity includes the development of a course for youth workers to support young people to manage their mental health in transition periods A3) Art in Transition - Art-based approaches to build emotional skills: this activity includes the creation of art-based activities to build emotional skills in young people Impact - The creation of an online course for youth workers, which will be piloted with 16 participants and accessible by educators in the youth, school, VET and HE sectors. - The creation of a handbook "Art in Transition" with 8 art-based activities to build emotional skills in young people and support them during transition periods - Involvement of 20 young people in using art to build self-knowledge and acquire OECD social and emotional skills - An international mobility for youth workers Link to project card: Show project card The content of this page is published for information purposes only.
