Objectives

One of the main motivations behind the implementation of the project was to upgrade existing educational programmes with a fresh and innovative approach based on integration of the silver economy principles and lifelong learning concept and to develop educational material aimed at adult educators and elderly people. In addition to this work, it is important to establish new connections and to make stronger the old ones with stakeholders, while including, informing and engaging elderly people, adult educators, mentors and volunteers who actively participate in the project’s activities that were implemented during the project’s lifetime. Lastly, no less important was to update the current knowledge of the staff involved in the project about good practices of lifelong learning and in relation to the principles of silver economy in digital knowledge, wellness, artistic skills, community spirit fields.
