โ–ถObjectives

The "Sun in the Age" project aims to improve the quality of life for older adults and the skills of educators and caregivers through innovative REMIND (Relaxation, Meditation, Mindfulness) practices. The main objective is to address the challenges of loneliness, anxiety, and stress that were exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic. By implementing REMIND techniques, the project seeks to empower older adults to build resilience, manage emotions, and transform loneliness into an opportunity for personal growth, contributing to their psycho-physical well-being and active aging. Additionally, the project aims to equip educators, social workers, and caregivers with tools to enhance their professional competencies and reduce stress, enabling them to provide better support to older adults. The project also fosters collaboration between education, healthcare, and social sectors to create sustainable networks promoting holistic approaches to well-being. By achieving these goals, the project contributes to inclusion, diversity, and lifelong learning opportunities at a European level.
