Objectives

Many new mothers experience psychological and pedagogical challenges during the postpartum period but often lack adequate support to address them. This project offers expert psychological and pedagogical assistance in an accessible way. At its core, MOTHERCARE is built on the principle of "healthy mother, healthy baby, healthy society." Our project's objectives are: O1) Analysing psychological, and pedagogical needs of the mothers in postpartum period and working on the support mechanisms on the basis of scientific methodologies and by the experts rather than traditional and/or informal sources(WP1-3) O2) To increase the skills and knowledge of the mothers about their problems they face and the solutions/approaches they need. (WP1-2) O3) To provide counseling and support mechanisms the mothers in postpartum period need in more accesible and sustainable ways as to mind equality for all. (WP1-2-3-4) O4) To contribute to the dynamics of coherent and secure civic society through developing healthy pedagogic attitudes to the babies and supporting the mothers' psychological and mental health. (WP1-2-3-4) O5) To increase the awareness of community/stakeholders on the problems & needs of mothers in postpartum period(WP1-2-3-4).
