▶Objectives
Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to: - improve the quality of teaching as well as teachers' knowledge and skills in the field of modern methodology of working with students, - improve the quality of management of individual schools through the exchange of views and experiences of headmasters and deputy heads, - increase the language skills of students and teachers (English), - increase the skills of cooperation, teamwork, project work among students and teachers, - increase knowledge about partner countries, build tolerance, understanding of other cultures and customs, - increase students' knowledge of pro-ecological activities, - improve IT skills and knowledge in both students and teachers, - increase knowledge and practical skills in the field of healthy lifestyle, - increase teachers' knowledge and skills in working with pupils with special educational needs.
▶Activities
In the project, we have completed all the planned activities, i.e.: 1. Project meeting in Spišská Teplica, Slovakia - which took place on December 12-16, 2022, and was attended by 163 people. A total of 23 mobilities from all partner schools were carried out. 2. Project meeting in Zbrosławice, Poland, April 17-21, 2023. 326 people took part in this event. A total of 24 mobilities from all partner countries were carried out. 3. Project meeting in Szeghalom, Hungary 2-6 October 2023. 264 people took part in this event. A total of 22 mobilities from all partner countries were carried out. 4. Project meeting in Ciminna, Italy on April 15-19, 2024. A total of 307 people took part in it. A total of 21 mobilities from all partner countries were carried out A total of 90 mobilities were performed. All planned activities were implemented, e.g.: - ecological workshops on a farm dealing with cheese production, - workshops for managerial staff; how to prevent conflicts, - establishment and running of 2 e-Twinning projects, i.e. "Detective's Corner" and "Eco-Corner" - raising problems related to saving electricity, water, etc. - a visit to a photovoltaic farm, botanic garden. and many, many more.
▶Impact
The results of the project are primarily: - increasing students' motivation to learn foreign languages, - increasing self-confidence in contacts with other people, including in the international environment, - gaining experience in conducting and implementing international projects, - increasing interest in international projects in the school and local environment, - increasing the importance of schools and project-based education in the local environment, - improving the quality of work of school management, - changing methods and techniques of work and individualising teaching for pupils with special educational needs, - deepening peer and teacher cooperation at school and outside of it, - increasing knowledge about European/partner countries, - increasing knowledge about ecology among students and teachers, - increasing awareness and knowledge about a healthy lifestyle, alternatives to the telephone, Internet and TV. During the project, the following were jointly developed: - Project website, - Diary of the main character, - International dictionary of proverbs and important words, - A photo-album promoting a healthy lifestyle, - Lesson plans, - 2 e-twinning projects; about ecology and getting to know each other.
