Objectives

The main goals of the project are: For students: greater involvement in the social life of students, dissemination of common values, development of mathematical and linguistic competences, reducing disproportions between students from disadvantaged financial backgrounds, developing sensitivity and responsibility for themselves, but also for the guests received, during mobility and, as a consequence, opening up to the needs of other people. But also to develop awareness of other cultures, through confrontation with foreign languages and customs. For teachers: increasing language competences, learning new methods of students' work, establishing relationships that will be used in the implementation of future projects. The aim of the project was also to strengthen the relationship between parents and the school and to raise the image of the school in the local community.

Activities

During the implementation of the project tasks, students participated four mobilities, in discussion sessions, during which they practiced the ability to express their opinions in a foreign language. They analyzed data, searched for information in order to create charts and graphs about the European Union. They prepared presentations based on the information they obtained. During the debates, they formulated their postulates and solutions on selected topics, e.g. climate change, personal data protection, education. They created short videos, posters and quizzes using IT tools, thus developing their digital skills. During the mobility, the students developed sensitivity and responsibility for themselves, but also for the guests they received. They also developed an awareness of other cultures by confronting foreign languages and countries. Teachers took part in demonstration classes/lessons during the mobility. As a result, they developed their professional skills by sharing good practices. They developed ICT skills, as most of the activities were carried out using digital tools. Using English in communication, they developed their knowledge of English.

Impact

As a result of the actions taken, the students: - created a logo for the project, the implementation of which was preceded by a lecture conducted in English by a teacher from a Polish school, - multimedia presentations, each devoted to a different issue in accordance with the mobility schedule - leaflets disseminated in schools, concerning the activities carried out - posters resulting from workshops conducted at school on the most important problems bothering contemporary youth - in each partner school, a display case was created to disseminate the project schedule, partner countries and illustrate the most important activities undertaken during the implementation of the project - articles were published on the websites of local city authorities, describing each of the four completed mobilities, and the project in its entirety The result of the project is also an increase in digital and language competences (all online tasks and meetings were carried out in international groups) for both students and teachers. The dissemination of the project results and its implementation itself raised the image of the school in the local community. They also had an impact on improving social competences.
