Summary

The project responds to three main needs common to all partners. 1. Modernization of educational directions - a change in market philosophy and the challenges related to climate change force the labor market to become more interested in understanding the mechanisms of sustainable development and ecology, which translates into the need to supplement the content taught in the courses offered. 2. Internationalization - international cooperation and exchange of students and staff is an important condition for maintaining and improving the quality of activities and the basis for the development plans of each school. 3. Motivation of staff and students - the experience of remote work and the pandemic has affected the attitude and approach to school duties of both staff and students. The change in the form of education, although not very popular with students, has resulted in a break from the traditional format of classes and has shifted the emphasis to learning outcomes. One of the observable effects of the pandemic is also, for example, reduced periods of concentration, reluctance to sit at desks for long periods or a change in the form of acquiring knowledge towards interdisciplinary. All of this was reachable within the project.

Objectives

The aim of the project was to identify and collect proposals for supplementing vocational education curricula (to the curricula of computer science and technology, printing technology and food and fashion design) with recycling content. As a result of its implementation, the partners' curricula includes such elements, and recommendations and proposals regarding the content of teaching will be forwarded to other schools and institutions supervising vocational education in partner countries and the European Union.
