The main reasoning behind the SkillsComp project is to transfer the idea of skills competitions from the international level to the local/regional level by preparing VET teachers and professionals from various industries to use skills competitions as instruments to innovate VET and answer the needs of contemporary entrepreneurs who are struggling with the lack of qualified employees. We believe that skills competitions can make VET attractive again.
