▶Objectives
The primary objective of implementing the DICE project was to enhance digital competencies among vulnerable groups, specifically targeting low-educated young people, immigrants, and NEETs. By developing a comprehensive curriculum and high-quality open educational resources (OER), we aimed to equip these individuals with the essential digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge required to thrive in the modern workforce. This initiative sought to reduce social exclusion by providing accessible learning opportunities and pathways to self-employment or meaningful employment for these marginalized communities. Additionally, we aimed to foster a collaborative environment among partner organizations from different countries to share best practices and innovative learning methodologies. By utilizing a Cohort-Based Course (CBC) approach in our MOOC platform, we envisioned promoting interactive and engaging learning experiences. Ultimately, our goal was to create a sustainable framework that allows the educational resources produced to be continually updated and utilized beyond the project's lifespan, contributing to the long-term improvement of vocational education and training systems across Europe.
▶Activities
The DICE project implemented a series of activities designed to develop comprehensive education resources and foster collaborative learning. One of the key activities included the creation of a curriculum for digital competencies and entrepreneurship, which was informed by thorough research and the insights gathered from target groups. Additionally, we developed open educational resources (OER) that were structured to enhance accessibility and engagement among learners, utilizing a variety of multimedia formats to cater to different learning styles. Furthermore, the project included workshops and dissemination events aimed at raising awareness among stakeholders and potential users about the project outcomes. The roll-out of the DICE MOOC platform, featuring the Cohort-Based Course (CBC) approach, allowed participants to engage in interactive learning experiences that emphasized collaboration and peer support. These activities not only facilitated the effective implementation of the project objectives but also ensured that the resources were readily available and easily integrated into existing educational frameworks.

DICE MOOC Platform: - Development of a user-friendly MOOC platform implementing the Cohort-Based Course (CBC) approach, designed to support a large number of participants. 4. Pilot Testing and Feedback: - Conducted pilot testing for curriculum and learning materials with target groups to refine resources based on real user feedback. 5. Dissemination Materials: - Production of promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and social media content to raise awareness of the project’s outcomes. 6. Workshops for Stakeholders: - Organizing stakeholder workshops that engaged over 150 participants, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration on project results.
