Beyond NEET – Promoting youth social inclusion

Objectives The main objective of the project is to empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the domain of inclusive volunteering to enhance civic participation of young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. Activities The project will deliver 4 main activities: workshops with young people to know their expectations in the domain of volunteering; a needs assessment survey of Civil Society Organizations; training for youth technicians and two final seminars in Portugal and Ireland. Impact The expected results are greater dissemination of the benefits of volunteering for the NEET population; the formalization and qualification of voluntary work in European CSOs; greater expertise of the consortium in the domain of inclusive volunteering and the creation of transnational networks in the youth sector.
