โ–ถObjectives

Through this project, we successfully equipped VET learners and educators with essential skills to drive sustainability and digital transformation in the fashion sector. We developed and implemented a comprehensive online platform that integrates AI tools, including an educational chatbot, to support eco-conscious design learning. The project delivered a Compendium of best practices, interactive learning modules, and training content focused on circular design, sustainable materials, and digital innovation. Learners gained practical knowledge in areas such as zero-waste patterns, AI-supported forecasting, and design for longevity. Educators now have access to innovative teaching materials aligned with current industry needs and EU sustainability goals. The project fostered a stronger awareness of fashionโ€™s environmental footprint and provided actionable solutions for reducing it from the design stage. As a result, we built the capacity of VET systems to prepare future professionals who are digitally skilled, sustainability-minded, and better positioned for a changing labor market.

โ–ถActivities

The project implemented a wide range of activities designed to integrate sustainability and AI into VET fashion education: 1) Needs analysis: we conducted national research and interviews with students and teachers to identify digital readiness, sustainability awareness, and training gaps in VET fashion programs. 2) Development of a Compendium: we created a Compendium of best practices in sustainable fashion and AI applications, showcasing innovative European brands and case studies. 3) Creation of training content: we developed modular training materials focused on design for circularity, sustainable textiles, EU regulations, and digital tools 4) Platform and chatbot development: A digital learning platform and an AI-powered chatbot were built to guide learners through the training content interactively and adaptively. 5) Piloting and feedback collection: The content and tools were piloted in partner countries with learners and teachers, and improvements were made based on structured feedback. 6) Project dissemination and communication. Multiplier events to share results with target groups and stakeholders. 7) Elaboration of a Set of recommendations 8) Development of Exploitation plan to maintain and upscale results

The project produced several concrete outputs and tangible results A fully functional e-learning platform hosting interactive training modules, resources, and tools for learners and educators. An integrated chatbot designed to assist learners in navigating content, answering sustainability and design-related questions, and enhancing digital engagement. A curated collection of EU-based examples showcasing how fashion brands integrate sustainable fibers, circular design, AI tools, and innovative production methods. Comprehensive learning materials covering topics such as circular design (longevity, disassembly, transformability), sustainable textiles, EU legal standards, and AI in fashion. Standardized guidelines for educators to implement the modules in VET settings. National research reports (e.g., A2.4 Romania) identified VET readiness and helped shape tailored learning content. Piloting activities carried out across partner countries to test the platform and gather user feedback, leading to platform refinements.
