By implementing the project, we wanted to have a positive impact on children, their travel habits and, consequently, on parents and the wider environment. Since the project was focused on movement in nature, it also had a positive impact on children with special needs: they relaxed there, nature had a positive effect on all areas of child development. We wanted the children to develop a concern for nature. In cooperation with the municipality and the district community, we wanted to analyze and turn the road to the kindergarten into a safe and accessible path to kindergarten, contribute to a better quality of teaching, educate sustainably oriented individuals and actively involved citizens, both locally and globally. We wanted to raise awareness of all involved and encourage them to lead an active lifestyle.

Activities carried out: creation of the project logo, creation of the project mascot (selected in the children's art competition), production/recording and presentation of videos of the participating institutions, implementation of mobility weeks, recording the manner of arrivals/departures to the kindergarten/from the kindergarten, production of informative posters with children for parents and the surrounding area, implementation of an environmentally friendly sports event Triathlon in cooperation with the local community and the municipality (walking, running, cycling), running for climate change, marking Erasmus days with sports events and sports activities, arranging a sport area next to the kindergarten's and carrying out active walks, running, exercise exercises, trips to nature, arranging, painting and using the cycling path on the playground in the kindergarten, cycling polygons, arranging and buying bicycles, scooters and helmets, various didactic games on the topic of sustainable mobility, connection of the topic with all areas of activities, analysis and arrangement of the road to kindergarten. cleaning campaigns, planting plants in high beds, sports afternoons with parents (trip, trim track, triathlon), mobilities.

Results: development of competencies of teachers, awareness of the importance of changing travel trends and developed respectful attitude towards nature among the majority of children, parents and teachers, acquisition of knowledge in the field of project work and experiential learning, foreign language training, exchange of good practice of project work with children on the topic of sustainable mobility, preservation of the environment and on the topic of a healthy lifestyle, acquiring knowledge in the field of cross-curricular integration, acquiring knowledge in the field of inclusion and ICT. Products: mascots of the project, a collection/book of fairy tales "Traveling through the fairy tales of Nace Kolesnik" in printed and e-version, various children's products on the topic of sustainable mobility, a landscaped and painted cycling path on the playground, a trim trail in the forest next to the kindergarten, the placement of traffic signs on the access road to the kindergarten (in cooperation with the municipality and the district community), the Padlet online booklet with examples of good practices in the implementation of activities on the topic of sustainable mobility and movement, new helmets and bikes.
