▶Objectives
By implementing this project, we aimed to raise awareness among students, teachers, school staff and families about climate change and to ensure that they understand the causes and effects of climate change. We ensured that our students acquired environmentally friendly consumer habits, became aware of their individual responsibilities against climate change, and participated in efforts to protect the planet by using creative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We also helped them learn about environmentally friendly technologies, develop basic skills such as English and information technologies, increase their social interaction skills and gain entrepreneurial spirit. We asked our teachers to create a continuous learning process by integrating climate change into the curriculum, learn different teaching methods and apply them in their lessons, and strengthen their language skills and European identity by reducing prejudices against European cultures. At the school level, we increased the quality of education by making them more open to Erasmus+ projects, strengthening cooperation and communication among staff, and sharing good practices.
