This project aims to strengthen the qualified workforce in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors while addressing industry-specific gaps in R&D and product development. It seeks to equip professionals in drug development and production with standardized, innovative training that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Additionally, it aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by aligning training programs with sectoral needs. The specific objectives are: to develop a highly skilled workforce capable of responding swiftly to pharmaceutical demands in crises such as pandemics; to cultivate internationally competent, innovative, and strategically vital human resources; to train specialized personnel for pharmaceutical production; to provide expertise in preclinical and clinical studies, GLP, GMP, regulations, patents, and licensing, covering the entire process from molecule to drug; to foster interdisciplinary collaboration through a multidisciplinary approach; and to promote innovative applications of bioinformatics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology in pharmaceutical R&D.
▶Activities
The primary goal of this project is to enhance the qualified workforce in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors while addressing industry-specific deficiencies in R&D and product development based knowledge and applications. The main objective is to equip personnel involved in drug development and production processes with standardized and innovative training methods that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications. • To develop a highly qualified workforce capable of responding rapidly to strategic pharmaceutical production demands in extraordinary situations such as pandemics, • To contribute to the pharmaceutical industry by cultivating internationally experienced, innovative, and strategically significant human resources, • To train specialized personnel for pharmaceutical production, • To provide knowledge in areas such as preclinical and clinical studies, GLP, GMP, regulations, patents, and licensing, covering the entire process from molecule to drug, • To facilitate the synchronized collaboration of professionals from different disciplines through a multidisciplinary approach, • To promote innovative applications of bioinformatics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology in pharmaceutical R&D.

This project has yielded significant outcomes in pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors through training, innovative applications, and R&D. Educational initiatives, production-development processes, and dissemination efforts have contributed substantially to the industry. A. Educational Project Outputs:Training Program, Curriculum, Training Slides, Online Evaluation Tools, QR code Book, QR code brochure, Comic Book, 2D video, Lab. Guide, 3D Educational Materials, AI-Based Mobile Applications, Videos, Website, 11 Trainings were organized (National and International) B. Research & Development Activities:Two distinct R&D studies were conducted, focusing on molecule discovery, in vitro preclinical studies, and innovative pharmaceutical research applications. These studies assessed the therapeutic efficacy of usnic acid and atranorin molecules in treating various cancer types. C. Dissemination Activity: Web site, Brochure, 2D video, AI-Based Mobile Applications, Videos, Graduate-Level Course, numerous dissemination activities were organized (National and International).
