Digital entrepreneurship for youth

We applied for this project to address the growing need for digital skills and entrepreneurship training among unemployed youth, disadvantaged groups and young professionals facing barriers to the labour market. As the digital economy expands, many young people lack the skills to participate in online business creation and digital employment opportunities. Traditional education and training programmes often fail to provide practical, accessible and business-oriented digital skills development. The DigEnYou project aims to fill this gap by providing structured learning modules, an interactive e-learning platform and a validated training methodology. By equipping young people with technical digital skills and transversal competences, the project aimed to increase employability, foster entrepreneurship and promote economic inclusion. The initiative also responded to the need for accessible, self-paced learning, ensuring that young people from rural, low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds could acquire relevant skills for the digital labour market.

The DigEnYou project aimed to empower young people by equipping them with digital and entrepreneurial skills essential for the modern labour market. The main objective was to bridge the gap between the demand for digital skills and the employability of young people, ensuring that unemployed, disadvantaged and low-skilled young people have access to high quality, structured training in digital entrepreneurship. In implementing the project, we sought to develop an innovative learning methodology, create a comprehensive curriculum and establish an interactive e- learning platform that would provide self-paced and accessible training. Through structured learning modules, we aimed to increase digital literacy, promote entrepreneurial thinking and encourage economic participation. We also wanted to equip trainers and youth workers with tools to effectively support young learners. The project also focused on scalability and sustainability, ensuring that the resources developed could be widely adopted and used beyond the consortium.
