Objectives

The desired results and effects are to make students (and teachers) citizens of an inclusive society, thanks to trained and equipped teachers to talk about disability, and more specifically learning disabilities. The project thus consisted of three productions: - Conduct a study on the needs of field professionals (teachers at the end of primary and beginning of secondary/college) - Provide tools in the form of online kits for teachers to work with all children in the class on these disorders - Disseminate training and awareness widely to teachers and 2nd line professionals who multiply the impact by reaching more field professionals.

Activities

- Team meetings to exchange on the expertise and estimated needs of teachers according to the practice of partners who have submitted the project - Ongoing consultation and monitoring of tools and theoretical contributions regarding disorders and inclusion - The creation, then regulation via cognitive laboratory, and then validation of an online study tool on teachers' needs and wishes - The implementation, analysis and findings of the online study - The creation of tools based on the partners' professional practices and study results - Implementation of tools with volunteer partner teachers in both countries. - The improvement of the first toolkit and the creation of a platform to make them accessible once validated - Testing the other kits on the basis of the first format with teachers in continuing training - Finalization of tools and improvement of the platform in terms of content and accessibility - Training professionals in the use of these finalized tools - Dissemination of the tool in "multiplier" circles (education system managers, teacher trainers, territorial clusters, training managers...)

Impact

1. The report on teachers' needs to assess their audiences and the difficulties and needs that they have in including people with disabilities. 2. A free platform, in French, giving access without any restrictions (no encoding or number), to all tools: - Destabilizing quiz on the presumed knowledge about the disorders identified as the most important in the study: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysphasia, dyspraxia, ADD/H with addition of TND following the first meetings with teachers in continuing education. - Clear, validated and short information on them. - Video of situation to represent the difficulties in the course of schooling of children with one of these disorders (and therefore a fortiori several if necessary) - Tools for the teacher to help students live these situations - Methodological proposals to exchange within the class and make the arrangements as a class project and not a dual relationship between the teacher and each student "Dys". - Review of other tools to go further according to the users' desire 3. Several continuing training proposals
