▶Objectives
The aim of the proposal was to bring together vocational schools and training centers with textile laboratories, producers and enterprises and pave the way for the knowledge transfer from the practice (business) to the education (schools, training centers). In this way we were able to update the curricula and thus upskill custom tailor and fashion designer students with relevant know-how on innovative textiles.
▶Activities
Following activities have been implemented: 1. Established network on VET schools, textile producers, laboratories, etc. based on networking meetings in Turkey, France and Germany (The networking with German actors was fostered through online discussions with representatives from the VET and business) 2. Collection of innovative textiles and garments with descriptions (didactical material) = “Textile Tool Kit” 3. Preparation of tactile Material boxes (Selection of 5-10 different textiles from the partner countries as experimental box for students, 4. Launch two Journal for the VET of bespoke tailors and fashion designers 'bespoCE' (CE = Commitment to excellence) 5. Design and produce 3 different sustainable collections in Bursa, Adana and Leipzig as practical experiment on the collected fabrics.
