▶Objectives
The main objective of the project was to develop high-quality, flexible, and industry-relevant web development education through two microdegree programs—one in front-end and one in back-end development. We aimed to address the shortage of skilled software developers by providing structured learning opportunities that aligned with labor market needs. Additionally, we sought to create freely accessible and easily adaptable digital learning materials to support educators and learners. By fostering international collaboration between higher education institutions and industry, we aimed to enhance digital skills, improve teaching quality, and promote lifelong learning. The project also contributed to the digital transformation of education by developing resources that could be used across different institutions and adapted to various learning environments.
▶Activities
The project was successfully implemented according to the planned activities outlined in the application. We developed two microdegree programs—one in front-end and one in back-end development—ensuring they met labor market needs. The implementation began with research and analysis of industry expectations to define the required skills and competencies. Based on this, we designed and structured the curricula, determining the sequence and content of subjects. We then created high-quality digital learning materials, including texts, videos, exercises, and assessments, ensuring they were freely accessible and adaptable. The microdegrees and study materials were piloted with learners, and feedback was collected to refine and improve the content. Throughout the project, we maintained strong collaboration between partners, ensuring the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
