Objectives

The A4B project pursued three core objectives. First, it aimed to enhance international collaboration skills among students, educators, and business professionals by fostering interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation. Second, it sought to design, co-develop, and pilot a blended learning course that integrates EdTech innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets, combining academic rigor with practical business needs. Third, the project aimed to bridge the gap between academia and business by promoting reciprocal knowledge transfer, preparing future entrepreneurs, and aligning educational outputs with market demands. These objectives were closely aligned with European priorities, emphasizing innovative teaching practices and addressing digital transformation by building digital readiness, resilience, and capacity. The project also aspired to create a sustainable, scalable model for education-business collaboration, ensuring long-term impact and value.

Activities

The A4B project implemented several strategic activities. Regular monthly online consortium meetings and biannual in-person gatherings ensured effective coordination and collaborative design of outputs. Nine interactive webinars engaged diverse audiences, complemented by three on-site workshops during the A4B Summer and Winter Schools. These workshops provided immersive, hands-on learning for students and professionals, including mentoring by university researchers and EdTech companies to support EdTech innovation in international teams. A blended course was co-developed and piloted using a design-thinking approach, incorporating iterative feedback. Additionally, digital learning materials and guidelines were created to ensure sustainability and accessibility. Hybrid multiplier events in each partner country showcased results, encouraged stakeholder engagement, and amplified impact. Collectively, these activities fostered collaboration, reciprocal knowledge transfer, and entrepreneurship and EdTech skills development.
