The project aimed to bring • a cultural showcase centered around the representation of music entanglements among Balkans and Mediterranean under the strand of migration, stating that cultures no longer have any kind of uniformity or separateness, rather they permeate one another, and are further characterized by mixtures. • an educational approach centered around the integration of music in educational settings formal and non-formal, by developing a pedagogical online toolkit including elements such as exploring historical events, examining song lyrics for poetic elements, and integrating social and emotional learning into curricula. This approach was seen as a powerful tool to establish the project as an innovative endeavor in the education field (formal, non-formal), showcasing the transformative impact of music on the pedagogical aspects of students, encompassing both cognitive and emotional dimensions. • opportunities to students to familiarize with Europe and international mobility and to unveil their artistic work, including their social and historical heritage, through live concerts during the Xanthi Music Festival.

The project adhered to a comprehensive five-stage cycle, overseeing financial and administrative aspects while ensuring adaptability through a designed timeline. USB coordinated three online Transnational Partnership Meetings, fostering collaboration among consortium partners. The second activity featured music performances from schools across Greece, Romania, Spain, Italy, and Turkey, engaging over 150 students in the Xanthi "Polis Oneiron" Music Festival. Collaborating with their students, the partner schools composed songs rooted in local history, specifically exploring the theme of migration. Aligned with the festival's focus on the music of the Balkans and the Mediterranean, each school presented their program live. The third activity involved developing an online educational toolkit, incorporating desk research and pedagogical methods, translated into five languages for cognitive development. The fourth activity were dissemination events targeting Civil Society Organizations, youth workers, educators in formal and non-formal education, students and general public. A dedicated website, and newsletters for widespread outreach were developed. USB effectively managed social media for project visibility.

1.The development of an innovative online educational toolkit designed for primary and secondary education, as well as non-formal education settings. This toolkit incorporates desk research, two pedagogical methods for interdisciplinary music teaching, and records of five songs from partner schools, enhancing cognitive and mental development in children. The toolkit was translated in partners languages. 2.Successful presentation of five live music concerts by schools from Greece, Romania, Spain, Italy, and Turkey at the Xanthi "Polis Oneiron" Music Festival. The performances, rooted in local history and exploring the theme of migration, engaged over 150 students and contributed to the festival's focus on the music of the Balkans and the Mediterranean. 3.Dissemination activities, including events targeting representatives from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), youth workers, educators in non-formal education, and the general public, as well as representatives from public and/or music schools, educators, teachers, students, and the general public. This contributed to widespread awareness and engagement. 4.Creation of a dedicated project website to disseminate project results, including newsletters.
