▶Objectives
We wanted to offer our students - regardless of their social status and family background - a way to participate in international activities and learn more emotional and social skills. Within the project they learnt well-being strategies in cooperation with their peers. We also wanted them to learn how to actively participate in an international project. That enhanced their self-esteem and feeling of inclusion. We also wanted them to notice that they are capable of finding the ways of improving their own well-being have an active impact on their own lives.
▶Activities
We had a visiting lecturer in Finland who introduced the students to the topic of project. We also had two mobilities: the French students visited Finland in April and Finnish students visited France in May. During the mobilities we learned about the topic and exchanged thoughts about it. Students stayed in host families and learned social skills. Output of the project was digital newspaper that was created by the students involved in this project. Feedback form students was also collected.
▶Impact
Main concrete output of the project was the newspaper we made during the mobilities. Other results of the project were mainly focused on well-being in forms of social skills and visiting cultural places such as winter sauna and the Louvre. Feedback was also collected during the visits. In addition to the feedbacks students discussed what they had learnt about different cultures and well-being in during their visits.
