Exchange days between the pilot class and the class in Belgium to establish a framework for exchange through sporting, awareness-raising and educational activities. The aim was to analyse the needs of a typical class embarking on the adventure and to set up an AME in Belgium. Activities were also organised to give participants an overall view. A day in the Parc naturel Marin des estuaires picards (Picardy estuaries marine nature park) enabled participants to discover the many interactions between the sea, climate, human activities and biodiversity, in line with UNESCO's methodology for the oceans. Numerous activities linked to the creation of the educational tool ‘Talk to me about your AME’ took place throughout the project to : design the editorial part in a participatory manner based on the experience of the 2 classes; tour the images and testimonials Finally, a number of communication and outreach activities were organised for the public and schools, including the organisation of a film debate during the Ostend Film Festival, participation in the Nausicaa Team For Ocean Festival broadcast live to classes in France and the launch of challenges on Belgian beaches on the same day.

In addition to the many activities carried out, the main concrete and lasting achievement is the co-creation of a new educational tool via the successful online launch of the interactive web-documentary ‘Tell me about your educational marine area’, a real summary of the 18 months of projects. 18 questions are tackled via 31 videos, making it a fun guide accessible to all, especially teachers from different countries, as it is available in French, Dutch and English. An eTwining space has been created in addition to the tool's web page, as well as a section on Education For Climate. The tool was tested on 18 October 2024 in a school in Coudekerque Branche, near Dunkirk. On the student side, the animation received an average score of 4.25 out of 5. The test was also conclusive on the teacher's side: following the event, the teacher, Frédéric BRYGO, contacted the OFB to receive more information about the AME registration process. Another result is that the municipality of Ostend is encouraging the creation of 5 new AMEs. These initial results show that the tool is contributing and will continue to contribute to the expansion of AMEs in Europe, to strengthening young people's citizenship and to preserving our coastlines.
