▶Objectives
By participating in this program, we expect : · To improve our knowledge around foreign educational systems regarding the methods of inclusion used for students with special learning difficulties in each educational system. · To enrich our teaching practices by transforming our classic pedagogical approaches into more inclusive (and digital) ones. · To create partnerships to realize another project as well as spreading European culture to our students.
▶Activities
The implementation of this program gave us the opportunity to collaborate in various ways: · Mobility between teachers in each partner school, lasting 4 days. We were able to meet teachers, exchange with various institutions and partners, experience inclusive activities and observe good practices in order to enrich our skills. The various meetings and assessments made it possible to discover the educational systems and to better understand the inclusive strategies implemented in order to transfer them to our own countries. · Implementation was also done through inclusive activities between teachers and students in different areas, such as: o In Romania: digital inclusion in order to work on career guidance. o In Portugal: adapted sport, reading and caring support. o In Italy: Music and professional activity o In Greece: Theater and the environment. o In France: professional training and digital technology. · Some activities were able to be done jointly by the students from the different partner schools.
▶Impact
Participating in this program focused on EBEP has been a positive experience for our school communities. · We are now more sensitive to inclusion and we have been able to develop new inclusive methods like TEACCH, discover new digital applications made by students to express their emotions, be aware of the differentiation practiced in various countries, particularly during assessments . · Monitoring the impact of the project on students including EBEP students through the INDEX tool and the questionnaires carried out throughout the project allowed a better perception of our actions and the students' feelings. · We have been able to discover many innovative practices that can be re-exploited in our countries and our school systems, especially with digital applications such as Plickers, Actionbound, Kahoot or PIX. These discoveries have enriched our creativity and they have strengthened our digital monitoring. · EBEP project made it possible to discover the different educational systems, the school programs of the partner countries as well as their specificities. This networking of our establishments has been beneficial in better understanding the diversity our students and our teaching practices.
