Make instructions, a supporting guide for the schools to follow to implement health literacy as a whole school approach. Make the guide a promoted material through the network of health-promoting schools in Iceland and introduce it to SHE network. Purposefully reach all school children and adolescents with an important subject that will affect their decision-making throughout their lifespan.
▶Activities
A guide (draft), that will be used to work with schools to implement health literacy and develop more teaching material and find ways to make this process more easier and understandable in the school environment.
▶Impact
The guide (draft) has more information and guidance than we dreamed about in the beginning. Teachers gave their input in to the guide that was very valuable and their reflect on the learning from the visits gave input.
