Objectives

The main goal was to enhance the skills of professionals supporting social skills development in autistic youth through VR-based tools. Specific objectives included creating innovative methodologies to train professionals and developing communication strategies to build family trust in using new technologies. The project aimed to improve training effectiveness by 60% and enhance trainers' communication skills by 50%. Further goals included increasing the appeal of vocational training related to autism support, promoting innovative methods, and encouraging intercultural dialogue among partners. Ultimately, the project sought to foster sustainable impacts by improving inclusion pathways and raising awareness about autism and technological advancements in education. The achievement of these objectives was also meant to establish a framework for future actions and collaborations within and beyond the consortium.

Activities

The project included several main activities: 1) Project Management and Monitoring: Ensuring quality and adherence to timelines through consistent coordination. 2)Kick-Off Meeting (Online activity): An initial meeting to define strategies and assign roles among partners. 3) Training Course 1 (Spain): A course focused on VR applications in learning to enhance professionals’ skills. 4) Intermediate Virtual Meeting: A mid-term meeting to monitor progress and address any challenges. 5) Training Course 2 (Serbia): A training on effective communication strategies aimed at improving dialogue with families. 6) Closing Meeting (Italy): A final meeting to evaluate results, assess impact, and plan the sustainability of activities. The project also included a robust communication and dissemination plan, incorporating digital content creation and sharing results through online platforms and public events. These activities ensured consistent collaboration among partners and widespread visibility of the project's achievements.
