The project “Iberian Music Enjoying Itself: a digital window into the oral traditions of the Iberian Peninsula” main objective was to fight the imminent disappearance of intangible cultural heritage manifestations, specifically in the case of the traditional oral manifestations existing in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain), through the creation of a mobile application. All project partners had the same objective at heart and each had decisive roles that contributed to the success of the project: MPAGDP and GALICIA FIDDLE provided the cultural heritage knowledge expertise and CMT provided the digital technology expertise. The project ‘s objective was achieved through the creation of an open digital educational tool for interactive online learning about intangible cultural heritage that exists in Iberian Peninsula, in the form of a mobile application.
